Yenthiran Shooting At VIT Vellore

The Shooting Of Yenthiran Aka Robot is progressing rapidly,After Shooting Duets in US,Kulu Manali and Rajini-Shankar team may shoot at some scenes at Chennai...After Chennai It may be Vellore at Vellore Institute Of Technology....I got this this info from a student studying in VIT and it is reliable...Yesterday(15th November 2008) Director Shankarand his tean Visited Vellore Institute of Technology to see the locations. They had discussions with Mr.Vishwanathan The Chancellor of VIT...Shankar may use the excellent infrastructure here in VIT instead of shooting such buildings in North India and Ofcourse VIT has excellent infrastucture and IT remains the number one Private university in INDIA and Top after IIT's ,NIT's andAnna Univ,BHU....Shnkar may choose this location because IT is far away from the city and he can protect the story and give us as fresh as he can and VIT may be a protected zone since no media can enter to the College without University approval. Moreover the shooting will take place only during holidays...

@Tripmaster: I appreciate your faith towards your BITS-Pilani, but at the same time, you cannot simply mean VIT is not good or even deny its not the best Univ, as I'm very sure you wouldn't have either visited or studies at VIT. You can also see the author has used '...' which means IIT, Anna Univ 'and more'..! Hope my answer responds to your worry that whether BITS Pilani has lost its shine... NO IT IS NOT. IT IS AS GREAT AS ALWAYS! But at the same time, VIT is also catching up much more than what IIT, Anna Univ and BITS students/alumnis think.
