They even launched a state wide campaign against Indo-US nuclear agreement.The man with double tounge Mr.Prakash karat said that no country will develop if it has alliance with US.Now some of the ministers from Kerala are planning US Tour for their personal agenda.In Kerala, Tourism Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, Karat’s most beloved companion in the Politburo, and Industries Minister Elamaram Kareem are planning to tour major business centres in the US and the UK to strike the business deals.The intresting thing is that proposal for the US tour  has gone for party(Karat,Yechury,Brinda) clearance .The  children of comrade leaders study in US, working for US MNCs and settle in US. The joke is these communist people also prefers go to US for treatment!!!.

Why Prakash Kart, Yechuri, Brinda, and Bardhan silent on this issue? Answer Me, you .......................

Felt Nostalgic....Life in 90's.....

Remember your life in nineties.......

Cycling was like a breath of fresh air… No safety helmets, your cycle with plenty of cardboards between spokes to make it sound like a motorbike…

When thirsty we only drank tap water, bottled water was still a mystery…
We kept busy collecting bits & pieces so we could build all sort of things … and we were fearless on our cycles even when the brakes failed going downhill…
We were showing off how tough we are, by how high we could climb trees & then jumping down….It was great fun….We could stay out to play for hours, as long as we got back before dark, in time for dinner…
We walked to school, or sometimes we even rode our cycle 
We had no mobile phones, but we always managed to find each other…. How? No one knows…
We lost teeth, broke arms & legs, we got cuts and bruises and bloody noses…. nobody complained as we had so much fun, it wasn't anybody's fault, only ours
We ate everything in sight, cakes, bread, chocolate, ice-cream, sweet sugary drinks, yet, we stayed skinny by fooling around.
And if one of us was lucky to find a 1 litre coca cola bottle we all had a swig from it & guess what? Nobody picked up any germs...
We did not have Play Stations, MP3, Nintendo's, I-Pods, Video games, 99 Cable TV channels, DVD's, Home Cinema, Mobile phones, Home Computers, Laptops, Chat-rooms, Internet, etc ...

We played with sticks and stones, played  Indians, doctors and nurses, hide and seek, soccer games, over and over again…BUT, we had REAL FRIENDS!!!!

We would’ve watched Shaktimaan on TV at least once in your life. And you can immediately recognize the character when you see him.We would have some ‘NRI’ relatives.We couldn’t wait for it to be December so We could have the chocolates your NRI relatives brought to us

They were bright pink and disgusting tasting, but we loved them for the temporary tattoos.Talking of temporary tattoos, we sometimes had contests with our classmates about who had more tattoos on their arm, leg, knee, hand, forehead, wherever.

For the longest time, the Maruti 800, the Premier Padmini,  Fiat, and  Ambassador were the only cars we saw on the road.Though we never knewed anything other than advertisements ,we spent a good part of 1998 drooling over the Hyundai Santro and the  Matiz , debating which one was better.We thought seeing English movies and speaking English makes one the the coolest so we saw Titanic 12 times.Towards the late 90s (1998-99) at least some of us started our Harry Potter obsessions!........................and this continues as sweet memories

The Majesty of Chettinad palaces

Yesterday I met my dad's close friend who is running a furniture stores at Pudhucherry,My memories went to my nineth standard where he took me to his native place Chettinad near Pudhukottai for his family function,To be true i havent seen such a big house in my life , he said that homes in Chettinad are now used for TV serials . I think everyone would have noticed the palace of Raja Annamalai Chettiar in various movies.It is irony that many people left those majestic bunglows and they are living in 2 bedroom and single bedroom flats in US,Chennai,London and a lot in Singapore

But maintaining such a large home itself is a big task due to scarce of labour and labour costs,many left Chetinad because of that.There were many such palace homes in Bangalore but it were made hotels and picnic spot.Since Chettinad is a village and the climate in chettinad is horrible it is difficult to make it as a tourist spot like Mysore.But these architectural wonders can be preserved by developing the Village as a industrial hub so that the people dont migrate to the cities.Our Finance minister is also from Chetinad area,he is planning to bring a SEZ in Sivagangai.Lets hope These palace homes are preserved.

See the above picture,This home was constructed in 1902,but the woods used in that home is very good even now.And the building having very very minute cracks which is very less than cracks found in newly built flats and buildings in Chennai.Pls do remember these homes are constructed without a engineer.
It is very difficult to get a home like this,My uncle told me that Actor Vikram has purchased a home in Chettinad. Imagine number of windows to a home ...10 ,50 or 300...In Chettinad many houses have 1000 Windows..Then imagine the number of rooms in that home.

It Heard this news from an SMS that A.R.Rahman is going to score the background music for 2012 olympics in LONDON.It was no surprise to me, Rahman deserves that.The Mozart of Madras became Mozart of India...and now he is going to become the Mozart of World Music.Music for UN ,Pray for me Brother made him to be the star of the world music,He would have been very rich like pop singers if he would have been given rights for the film music,In India we dont have that practice,All rights are reserved with the producers.The forthcoming 2009 is going to be a big treat for Rahmanists with Yuvvaraaj( from the team of TAAL) and Marmayogi.The latest Buzz is the new combination of ARR+Gautam menon for Chennaiyil oru Mazhaikaalam,Lets see how that combination works....Some critics feel that Harris is better than Rahman..But Harris does his best only with Jeeva and Gautam.

The reason I think for Singur agitation,Why some farmers are unwilling to sell their land

The government of Pondicherry announced a plan of SEZ in setharapattu and some villages on the shore of pondicherry,as a part of land acquiring for SEZ the government started buying land to th farmers many farmers gave land to the comapnies and government,Some were not willing to give their land to the company,i personaly know a landlord ,who is one among them.I thought he is unwilling to give his land because it is their forefathers property,But the real reason is he is expecting double bonanza,he said that if the company starts its operation the land value will increase and says that he may build any shopping complex or flat system so that it's value will be double than the price of the land,I think the same is happening in the Tata plant of Singur.where some section of people in singur gave their land willingly to company but some people oppose the plant,But many farmers in the singur want TATA plant to be operated from singur and they also need their land to make a double bonanza.But this is a critical situation we cant blame the mindset of farmers but the only solution is making farmers as the shareholders of the company and allocation same amount of land near the plant so that no one gets affected,but this solution is not applicable in all the places.That's the reason budhudeb goverment's blinking on the issue.Any how Left parties are going to get a severe blow in westbengal and kerala due to SEZ controversies in both the states.
